In 2011, Shane Burcaw started a blog to tell his life story of living with Spinal Muscular Dystrophy. The blog blew up, achieving half a million followers. Shane realized how badly people needed humor in their lives, and Laughing At My Nightmare, Inc. was born!

Each of our collaborations were recipients of Emmy® Awards. "Happiness is Always an Option" won in 2013, and "A Will to Survive" won in 2015. He continues his mission of spreading positivity through his popular YouTube channel, "Squirmy & Grubs," which has 1.85 million subscribers!
